Nesebar is one of the most significant cultural and historical sites in Bulgaria. It was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1983 due to the numerous preserved cultural monuments, both on land and underwater, and its unique, authentic and well preserved historical and natural landscape.
The project proposal “Revitalized spaces in the world cultural value Nessebar Old Town – Ethnographic Museum” provides for revitalization of spaces in the Ethnographic Museum in Old Nessebar, which is housed in the house of Moskoyani – typical architecture of the Black Sea from the late Renaissance and the creation of a permanent exhibition through innovative means, thus aiming to meet the need to improve the presentation of cultural heritage and promote cultural entrepreneurship in Nessebar – the only Bulgarian city under the protection of UNESCO as part of the world cultural heritage.
